1. How many rental crates am I allowed?
A: Each employee is allocated 4 rental crates and 1 rental skate.
2. Where do I pick up my rental crates?
A: There will be multiple locations on each floor that will be designated for you to pick-up your rental crates. Click here for a map of all pick-up locations by floor.
3. Am I allowed to pack personal belongings in my rental crates?
A: The rental crates are provided to you for the packing of work related items only.
4. What is the deadline to have my crates packed?
Phase 1 deadline to have your crates packed is 11/23/10 at 5:00pm
Phase 2 (Main Employee Move) deadline to have your crates packed is 12/9/10 at 5:00pm
5. What is the deadline to have my crates unpacked?
A: The deadline to have your crates unpacked is December,17th 2010 at 12:00p.m. You will be responsible to prepare your packing materials for collection. A Polk team or moving team will collect the packing materials from your workstation or office.
6. What if I need more rental crates?
A: If more crates are needed contact the Polk Move Team. Not all requests will be granted. You will need to make valid case that additional crates are necessary.
7. Where do I return my packing materials?
A: You will be responsible to prepare packing materials for collection and leave them in your workspace or office. Polk team or moving team will collect the packing materials from your workstation or office.
8. What if an item is too big to fit in a crate?
A: Place a label on the item and Professional Movers.com will place large or bulky item into a speed pack box.
9. What should I do with my crates once they are packed?
A: Make sure they are all labeled with your Polk Identification Number then just leave them in your workstation.
10. Where will I get my labels from?
A: Labels will be delivered to you.
11. Where will I get my computer packing materials from?
A: Computer packing materials will be delivered to you.
12. What will I do with my computer once it is packed?
A: Make sure everything is labeled with your Polk Identification Number.
13. What should I do with my phone system?
A: The cord should be wrapped around your phone system, and a label should be placed on the front of the phone. Once it is labeled, leave the phone on your desk.
14. What should I do with my computer cords?
A: Computer cords should be disconnected, wrapped neatly, and placed inside the zip lock keyboard bag.
15. How can I ensure that I receive all of my office belongings at the new location?
A: Label each crate and piece of computer equipment with your floor Polk Identification Number. Any additional item that does not fit in crates should be labeled as well. It is smart to do a piece count and write the piece count on each label.

A: Return unused equipment to the original pick-up location.
18. What should I do with file bars after my crates are unloaded?
A: File bars should be placed in top crate. Do not place file bars inside the other empty crates.
