Why are some of my items Non-Allowable Items?
Professional Movers.com strictly follows the regulations of the United States Department of Transportation, the Environmental Protection Agency, and our Safety Cargo Policy to ensure everyone’s safety. We define “non-allowable items” as hazardous and perishable items that pose a risk during transportation. To determine if an item is non-allowable, our Moving Consultants, Packers, and Move Teams ask important questions like whether it will spoil, leak, explode, cause a fire, be affected by heat or cold, and if it will damage other items if it leaks. If any of these questions are answered yes, the item should not be packed, transported, or stored by Professional Movers.com.

Professional Movers.com can transport lawn equipment that operates using gasoline and oil as long as the customer has completely drained all gasoline and oil prior to move day.
Personal Items of Sentimental Value
When moving, it’s important to pack your sentimental and irreplaceable items separately to avoid potential delays or loss. We suggest that irreplaceable items and/or sentimental items be transported in your personal vehicle rather than packed and loaded onto our moving trucks or stored with Professional Movers.com.
For expert packing services, trust Professional Movers.com. Our packers and move teams use their expertise to pack your items with care and are trained to identify Non-Allowable Items. They also take into account factors such as temperature sensitivity to prevent potential damage from items freezing or melting during packing or transpiration.
