A Project Move Manager to schedule a walk-through of your office being moved. The Professional Movers.com Office Moving Consultant makes sure to accommodate whatever day and time works best to perform the walk-through. During the walk-through the decision makers for your business will review the full scope of the project. When available, layout of the current location and the new location will be provided to the Professional Movers.com Office Moving Consultant. During the walk-through the Office Moving Consultant will collect a list of items to be moved. To maintain efficiency, often Office Moving Consultant will ask to take picture of items to be moved. The Office Moving Consultant assesses the necessary packing materials, number of movers, number of trucks, and any specialty equipment that may be necessary to move your office. These details are outlined in the office move estimate.
Upon move day, your Professional Movers.com Office Move Team will arrive at your current office location. The office move team will be familiar with the scope of the move outlined in the office move estimate provided by your Office Moving Consultant. The Office Move Team will introduce themselves and identify the Office Move Team Leader. Any questions may be directed towards the Office Move Team Leader.
After the move team positions any trucks and sets up moving equipment, a walk-through is performed with a project manager from your office. This walk-through is important for the office move team to put a visual to what was discussed in the office move estimate. Once this walk-through is complete the move team will place any protective equipment such as; wall protection, door jam protection, and masonite floor protection.
The move will begin with items loaded in reverse order as to when they will be unloaded. Small items, boxes, desk contents, and chairs are loaded first. During this time all Rental Crates and Rental Rolling Record Carts loaded. This allows the team a clear path to larger items. Desks, filing cabinets, tables, and other large furniture is loaded accordingly. This loading method combined with proper labeling allows content from each office or work space to remain together and avoids sorting at the destination office.
If any IT & Computer Moving Services are required a separate IT Office Move Team is used. This team focuses on disconnecting, packing, and loading all IT at the origin office. IT is loaded on a separate air-ride equip moving truck. The same team will handle the unload and placement at the destination office. IT reconnection can be included if your office does not have an internal IT department.
Similar to an IT moving team, if there are any Furniture Installation Services required a dedicated install team will handle the disassembly and reassembly of all office furniture. This includes any wall mounted fixtures and Picture Hanging Services. Office install teams are often able to reconfigure furniture arrangements to fit a new layout.
Loading and unloading is completed on the same day, unless outlined in the Office Move Quote. How we move your office is designed to get your business functioning at your new location. Depending on the size of the office move this is accomplished the same day or in phases. Rental Crates & Packing Materials are left on-site and picked up at a later date to give your employees the necessary amount of time to unpack and set up.
