However, before our movers begin to load or unload your office items, our movers are trained to place protective materials throughout your office building to ensure that the appearance of your property is not compromised. Prior to your scheduled move date, Our Certified Office Moving Consultant will survey your current office and your new facility to create a list of protective moving materials that will be utilized during your relocation. In addition, Our Certified Office Moving Consultant will make sure that all building rules and regulations are meticulously followed.
Prior to your move, we will deliver a current copy of our insurance policy to your building management and your company representative. Our insurance policy will meet or exceed the requirements set forth by your building.

Builder Board & Masonite – This product will be placed in heavy traffic areas or office areas containing granite, travertine, marble, terrazzo, stone, colored concrete, tile, wood, carpet, or linoleum. Our movers will install the builder board by rolling it out and seaming it together to cover large areas. It is made of a heavy-duty corrugated material that is approximately 48 millimeters thick. The builder board will absorb the weight of heavy moving equipment while our movers are rolling your furniture over your fragile surfaces. Upon completion of your move, our movers will remove the builder board, leaving your floor surface clean and damage-free. The builder board is an earth friendly product that is recyclable and made of at least 33% post consumer material.
Doorway Protection – A door jam protector pad will be placed along your office entry doorway. Our door jamb protector pads are spring-loaded to hold them in place on either side of the door. This means we can protect either the edge of the door that swings out or apply it to the edge of the door near the hinges to protect the door and the frame at the same time. Not only will our door jamb protector pad prevent damage to your door, but it will also protect the items as we carry them through the entryway.
Elevator Protection – Most office buildings provide their own protection for their elevators. However, if our movers are scheduled to use an elevator and there are no protective materials in place, our movers will build a custom elevator protection barrier using plywood and premium pads. Our movers are trained to cover any elevator surface that may be in contact with furniture or moving materials as our team is working.
Rental Crates Not Boxes for your Office
Professional Movers.com will provide your office staff with rental crates to pack their office contents. The rental crates will be delivered to your office a few days prior to your move date. Our Certified Office Moving Consultant will visit your office and provide your employees with a packing and labeling demonstration on how to use the rental crates.
Benefits of Rental Crates vs. Cardboard Boxes
- The rental crates will arrive pre-assembled and have an attached lid. This means that your employees can begin packing right away and they will not have to waste time constructing and taping boxes together.
- The rental crates will be filled, stacked in rows of 4, and nested on top of a mobile skate or dolly. Black Stretch-Wrap
Any upholstered office furniture excluding office chairs will be stretch wrapped inside your office using Black Stretch Wrap. We are the only office mover in the Michigan market that prefers the use of Black Stretch Wrap. Our Black Stretch Wrap will cover the entire surface area of your upholstered furniture. Since our stretch wrap is black not clear, it is easy to see that the entire piece of furniture is covered. Many movers use clear or see through stretch wrap because it is a cheaper product. When clear or see through stretch wrap is applied to furniture it is difficult to determine if any of the surface area on the furniture is still exposed. Our theory is that if even a spot the size of a quarter is exposed while moving, there is a chance for that one exposed area to become dirty or soiled. Our rental computer crates allow the computer’s hard drive, monitor, and components to be stored in a single crate. We will also provide computer baggies for your keyboard and peripherals. Professional Movers.com IT Specialists can disconnect, label, pack, transport, and reconnect your computers. Conversely, if you elect to perform the packing, your employees can perform the packing services and our movers can transport your computers. Roll-A-Lift Move System

The Executive Desk Riser
